Forrest Center stage is a story about a student who is typical for his age - he likes to go fishing, play video games and eat at fast-food restaurants with his friends. Forrest gets to use assistive technology to make some of those activities easier to perform.
This is an interactive multimedia storybook on a CD-ROM about Forrest and how he uses assistive technology to accomplish something very important to him.
Each screen shows Forrest and some of his friends using assistive technology. The user can explore various environments. When a device is selected, a description is given and some of the devices are animated.
A Resource Guide provides descriptions and sources for the assistive technology in the story. This guide is included on the CD as Microsoft® Word and Adobe® Acrobat® PDF files that can be printed.
